WELCOME

My name is David Botana. As a Biomedical Engineering PhD student in Young Kim's Bioengineering Machine Learning Laboratory at Purdue University, my research focuses on mobile health, color science, and community health worker research.

I develop tools that accelerate research and translation to clinical applications, addressing inequities in academic and clinical spaces. I have worked on multiple design projects focused on topics such as assistive technology, treating diabetic wounds, and blood sample collection.
